History

A history of patient care through prevention.

historical nursesEHE International was founded in 1913 as the first medical center in the U.S. dedicated to the early detection of life-threatening disease through annual physical examination. Since then, EHE International has led the charge in promoting healthy lifestyle choices and behavior as the best means to safeguard future health.

Our continued commitment to that philosophy has made EHE International the preferred choice in employer-sponsored prevention and wellness programs for nearly 100 years. An organization of doctors, we deliver evidence-based preventive care to the nation's leading businesses.

Today, EHE International's program is considered a leading model in value-based plan design for employers seeking to deliver a rich, robust preventive health and wellness program that meets the personal health needs of employees and maximizes existing investment dollars.
